some things have happened since I wrote the latest news:
In the movie "elektrische Laternen" directed by Jochen Ecke and produced by Michael Ding, I played one of the leading roles.
In "Conspiracy" the male leading role directed by Tim Gunther, produced by peng gang,
for ZDF (Channel 2 Germany) production "Die Wehrmacht", directed by Ingo Helm, cinecentrum, I worked in front of the camera
In "Tallulah & Killerhaed", directed by Isabell Suba, Hff-Potsdam, I played the father of a leading girl
For Hörplanet, I have spoken in various audio plays, amongst others in the crime series "Lady Bedfort".
I have lent my voice to the animated movie "die wilden Felder und der Krieger" by Nils Eckhardt which will be presented to the public in autumn this year.
Catrin Lüth’s film "Friday" has finally premiered.
And much more...
"Squalid" from Andreas Tröger is still in post production, I recently saw the raw version and I think its worthwhile waiting.
"Sadisticum" from Sebastian ratdke is not yet completely.

Currently, I am preparing a project with the audiobook publishers "hörplanet". In their "lady bedfort" collection of detective dramas, I will be taking on the role of the evil "morris" in the series "der fang der fischer" ("The Fisherman"s Catch").

In mid-May I will start shooting a thriller with the working title "sadisticum". There I"m taking on the lead role and will be playing a murderous psychopath who…. but I don"t want to give away too much of the story at this stage! The film is directed by Sebastian Radtke whose first feature "Psychotika" was premiered in July 2006.

"annabel" Jan Haering"s film "Annabel" has been voted "best of fest" at the foursitefilmfest in Utah, USA. The film will be also screened in Canada at the Winnipeg International Film Festival.

At the end of April I was to be seen in the role of Artillery Commander Major General Johannes Bruhns in "Die Wehrmacht" ("The Wehrmacht") – a production directed by Ingo Helm for ZDF. This 3-part mini-series is based on original documents relating to Trent Park, a British mansion that was used for the internment and interrogation of high-ranking German army officers from 1942-1945.
In mid-March I was delighted to be invited by the Department of German Studies at the University of Warwick (UK) to take part in a poetry podcasting project. There I recorded 28 poems – one by Klopstock, all the others by our renowned Johann Wolfgang Goethe. Many thanks to Dr Seán Allan and Dr Birgit Röder who set up the whole project and who made sure I had a great time in Warwick. The poems will soon be available for download – check the website below for details.

The editing of my latest showreel is finished at last. I will be presenting it here on my website in the showreel category. It comprises scenes from "der letzte seiner art" (The Last of his Kind) from Paul Zischler, "ein bisschen april" (A Little Bit of April) from Asli Özge, "annabel" from Jan Haering, "the löwe of teranga" (The Lion of Teranga) from Benjamin Seiler and one scene from the RTL TV series "verschollen" (missing).
"Die Nacht des Jägers" (The Night of the Hunter), Jan Haering's new project, has just entered the first production phase. It was filmed in collaboration with cameraman Dominik Berg in 35mm and casts me in the leading role.
The film "annabel" by Jahn Jaering, in which I play the role of a vagrant called Clemens, has been accepted by the Swansea Bay Film Festival 2007 and the Foursite Film Festival, utah, USA, 2007 among others.

"squalid" by Andeas Tröger, filmed from the end of August to the start of September in Cemnitz, is being edited and undergoing relatively time-consuming visual processing. The film tells a story that blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy.

The PC game "gothic III" is now (10.13.06) being released on the market. Once more I have lent my voice to the role of the "nameless hero" as I did for parts I and II. I hope the new version of this successful game enjoys the same success as its predecessors. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all "gothic" fans and wish them lots of fun with the new adventures.

just finished is the film "the monster from germany", in which I agreed to play a small part at the beginning of the year. This film will be shown at various festivals.
Among other things, I would also like to mention the DFFB (German Film & Television Academy Berlin) project "der letzte seiner art"(The Last of His Kind)" by Paul Zischler and the HFF Potsdam (Academy of Film and Television) production entitled
"Freitag" by Catrin Lüth.
Both will conclude post-production in the Fall.
The theater production of "the house of yes" by Wendy Mclioud, which premiered in April and which we performed ten times in the "Theater zerbrochene Fenster" in berlin, received a great reception.
The young director Huan Vu, has committed himself to Germany history and plans to film a large-scale movie recalling the events of 1848 from the perspective of a small town in Southern Germany. To raise funds, he has now produced a trailer in which I embody the role of Severin Hofmann, newspaper proprietor and moderate reformer, who announces the start of a new era during a speech in the market place of a small town in Southern Germany.
